Ages 18-30 only!! Which city offers the most TX culture?? Austin or San Antonio? |
Travel Info What's the best thing about your city? Favorite restaurant? Local Music scene? tell me what makes your city unique etc... Travel Tips If you are 18-25 and are looking for the club scene and a little about our political history, I would select Austin. Plus, there are great parks and it's much more liberal than San Antonio, but, San Antonio wins for history with the Alamo and all it's missions. There are 7 universities and 6 community colleges as well as several technical schools. The best Mexican food is here!!! Better than anywhere and you don't have to go to the westside to find it. First Friday's is very unique and fun just South of Downtown and of course, San Antonio has both the riverwalk and the Spurs. But, Austin is not the tourist city that San Antonio is and Austin's financial base is a little higher as they are the silicone valley of Texas. Others I would sayAustin,tx San Antonio is the most ciltural city in Texas! Oh I love San Antonio! It is teh best! If you're looking for live music and live music only go to Austin. For Culture, San Antonio is the place to be. We have the world famous Riverwalk with its restaurants and bars. We also have the historic Spanish missions trail, Fiesta Texas, SeaWorld, the San Antonio Zoo, Japanese Tea Gardens, Brackenridge Park, NorthStar Mall, The Shops at La Cantera and dozens of great restaurans with authentic Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine. Go Spurs Go! San Antonio probably has more Texas culture, but we love Austin the best. Austin has friendly people, pretty parks, and just an all around neat town. San Antonio has a lot of History, the Alamo and the Riverwalk is gorgeous especially at night. why only ages 18-30? i'm younger than that and i can tell you a lot about austin, even though san antonio prob. has the most culture about tx (alamo, etc.) |
