I'm moving to San Marcos, Texas!!?

I'll be attending TSU, therefore, I am looking for something near school. It could be either an apartment to myself or group house. However, I am picky about neighborhoods. San Marcos may not be that big but which side of the town offers a more young 20-35 crowd. Friendly, artsy, safe and of course, be reasonable distance from TSU.

San Marcos is so small it really does not matter which side of town you live on. Anything is a reasonable distance from SWT.
Eat'm Up Cats! Ckeck out the Timbers. The second right just past Joe's Crab Shack and the tennis courts. They are back in the trees and in walking distance of campus. Just to let you know it really doesn't matter where you live in San Marcos, a campus bus stops by the majority of apartments.
