Hotels in Downtown Austin?

Me and my sister are going to the music festival in September but we're trying to find a hotel tonight.
Does anyone know of some good/cheap hotels downtown?

Try my favorite, Hotel San Jose, just north of downtown or check out this web site with reviews.

You might try a Super 8, La Quinta and Doubletree downtown but are in a much lower price range. The government had many Katrina evacuees staying there for months.

If you're looking for downtown and cheap try the following:

Extended Stay America: 6th and Guadalupe- no charge for parking, cheap rates
La Quinta: 11th/San Jacinto- cheap rates, valet charge
Holiday Inn Townlake: not walking distance to the bars or anything, but on townlake.

If you're not worried about being able to walk to the bars, etc... downtown and don't mind skimping on quality, there's a Super 8 on I35 and 12th St. There's also a Doubletree Club on 11th and I35.
