Considering a Move...? |
Travel Info to Austin, I live in Plano, Texas now. Please tell me the best area to live ( I prefer real clean and new area). Good apt that is in the $600 range & maybe with a yard. Good jobs in the area...I am Executive Asst w/ Account Payable/Receivables plus other Office experience. What is the going salaries and any other opinions people might want to add. Oh yeah, great non denominational church w/ a very contemporary type Pastor. Thanks EVERYONE for your feedback Travel Tips You're sure to get quite a few recommendations from those of us who call this area home. Then you can hop on line and begin looking more closely at some of the suggestions and then move forward with, what I believe, is a great plan. There are new apartment communities all over the city due to the tremendous growth in this area--not unlike Plano. I can say, hands down that any Amli Apartment community is going to be nice and very well run. Almost every apartment complex located on Parmer Lane is no more than 5-6 years old--many are brand new--some I know have yards. This is north Austin so disregard if you end up working south. Jobs are abundant--don't know if you've considered accounts payable in health care but it's booming here and may be something you want to consider. St. David's Healthcare and Seton are big employers, have good websites, are all over the city, and are both in the midst of major expansions. Non-D churches...these also have fantastic websites: Austin Stone Community Church, Gateway Community Church, and Celebration Church all could potentially be a good fit for you. Wishing you all the best--it's a great place to live whether you're single or raising a family. Others Check out www.salary.com |
