I want to move to Austin from the Atlanta area, do you think that Austin is a good move? |
Travel Info I'm origianly from Detroit and I've only visited Austin once but I realy liked it. Also I have heard good things about the economy. Metro Atlanta is toooo country and yes don't forget this is Georgia!! Travel Tips Atlanta is too country? Where on earth did you get that idea? The suburbs of Atlanta like Duluth, Loganville, Athens,etc. may be country, but not Atlanta itself. I have also been to Austin just once and find it is a nice city and is fairly centrally located to other cities in Texas. Good luck with your decision. Others Austin, TX. Is one my favorite places to live. I lived there for 9 years. If I had to move, Austin would be my first choice. Bless you Austin's economy is decent, though competition for jobs in most sectors is still a bit tough. Housing is going up, though other living expenses are fairly stable. Austin is still a southern city, though you will probably find it less "country" than Atlanta. I like it, and I've lived all over the world. Lived in Austin nearly 10 years now. |
