Can anyone describe the amenities and advantages of living in Bavaria?

Good beer is definitely a good answer. But, also, Bavaria is what many americans think of when they think of Germany. Dirndl, mountains, castles (esp Neuschwanstein), Oktoberfest, Rothenburg (which is in the state of Bavaria but the part of Bavaria used to be and still is the region of Frankonia).
Also it helps that Munich is a high tech center with lots of american and other high tech companies being located there. Lots of teaching opportunities for american english teachers (although its a tough business...ask my wife!). |
