Travel Info How can my wife quickly make friends in Munich as a non-German speaker? Travel Tips I am an American living in Frankfurt. I found a yahoo group (Frankfurt In Motion) that is made up of English speaking Expats here in the city. They have tons of events and activities planned and by going to some of them I've made some good friends already in just a few weeks. I would search yahoo groups for your city. Here is one I just found: (gea is the name of the group) gea 810 Members, Archives: Membership required WE (the German English Association): HAVE events in French, Italian, Spanish, German and English; ARE open to people of all nationalities who live in Munich, Bavaria, Germany - (M眉nchen, Bayern, Deutschland); ARE either native English speakers or have English as a second or third language.
