Take the "Regional Bahn" (train) or the S-Bahn (local train) from Duisburg Hbf to Duesseldorf Hbf, from there walk or take the U-Bahn (subway) to the "Altstadt" or Old Towne. On a Thursday night in the Altstadt or on the nearby Ratinger Strasse, it will be PACKED!!! You'll love it. MacLaughlin's Pub on Kleinestrasse in the Altstadt has 2-for-1 prices on all drinks starting at nine, every Thursday.
In other words, there isn't much happening in Duisburg, but Duesseldorf is where the whole region goes to let loose. Have fun! |
