I'm taking a cruise to the Baltic, and we're docking at Warnemunde for a few hours. I don't want to take their over-priced excursions and just want to wander round Warnemunde for a couple of hours. Do you know where the cruise ships dock and how easy it is to get into town?

The cruise ships are docking right in front of the town, actually it takes only a few minutes to the downtown area. Warnem眉nde itself is a very small town and it doesn't take much time to explore. Therefore take the train (trainstation is located across from the docks) to Rostock, only about 20 min away. Walk around the city and take a look at the church (Marienkirche) and the old town hall (Rathaus, dating back to the 13C-14C). |
