Actually, I think the translations offered above are too literal. Instead of "mehr als alles" I would say: "Ich liebe dich 眉ber alles", which means literally "I love you above everything". I'm not German but I translate German and have been living here for almost five years. Source(s): 159,000 hits on Google for "Ich liebe dich 眉ber alles" versus 12,200 for "Ich liebe dich mehr als alles"
