Travel Info My fiance & I are thinking of going to the Bahamas for our honeymoon, doesn't any one recommend a resort? Travel Tips From the research I was doing I would say Westin Bahama Island Our Lucaya Resort , the reviews are great!! http://www.tripadvisor.com =) Others I stayed at Sandals and had a BLAST! Make sure you stay in the larger building facing the ocean. I would recommend a resort outside of the Bahamas. Freeport and Nassau are both sh*tholes. If you must go the Bahamas, I suppose that new resort would be the best. I believe it's called Atlantis. How about a cruise going to several spots in the Bahamas. Check out the websites for "Sandals"...they have numerous resorts that are adult only, and some are all inclusive, some are not. The two of you will have a lot of discussing to do to determine if one of them is the right thing for you...the way to start would be for both of you to make a separate list of things that you want to do on your honeymoon, then compare, and combine to do what appeals to both of you and what you can afford. CONGRATULATIONS! newly of 6 months ATLANTIS...... it is spectacular! |
