Has anyone ever been to the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas? |
Travel Info If you have, please share with me your experience, must sees, travel tips, etc. This will be my first time - I am going with family, we leave in 4 days. Travel Tips I have been twice. Once for a week & once for just a day. It is the most wonderful vacation you will have if you like watersports & swimming. The waterslides, pools, & aquarium features are amazing!!!!!!! Food is very expensive within the resort so I hope you have a meal plan. If not go off propertyu for meals. Nassau is OK, but kind of honky tonk with the Straw Market, etc. If I was going I would stay at the resort to maximize my enjoyment. Have a great time. you can't help but have a good time... Others We went there (myself, my daughter and my sister). We stayed in the Royal Towers, Club Level. It was amazing. We got free cocktails every night, free breakfast, lunch and snacks throughout the day in a private lounge. The dig is great. The water is beautiful. The pools are delightful. It is expensive, but not as bad as some people will tell you. It is paradise! Go and have fun. It's beautiful !! My experience was not good as I was slipped the date rape drug from one of the bartenders outside by the pool. They tried to get me on a jet ski and into the water. I fought and made it in the building prior to passing out. Broad daylight and couldn't get any one to help me ..... Please be careful..... It was reported but nothing ever done. We constantly get free offers to come stay... I am no kid and my hubby was playing black jack. I sat with a group of strangers at the pool reading. Try tripadvisor.com they have recent reviews of this property. It's very expensive but worth every penny, some people eat off the resort to save money , but if money isn't an issue then you'll really enjoy the food there. Have fun! =) |
