I took a cruise their last October and one of our ports of call was Nassau, Bahamas. I was rather shocked to find out that even though it has it's foreigner selling products in the market, but the other areas we stopped in was just as American as American Pie. The only difference is the prices were higher and we weren't charged with the high taxes as we are in the USA... Others English is the native language in the Bahamas and in Nassau. English. |
