Can you sneek alchohal on a cruise ship? |
Travel Info me and some freinds are going on a royal caribbian cruise but heard that the alchohal tab at the end can be an arm and a leg. So we were thinking of taking our own.... Travel Tips Sure you can! all the previous answers have been referring to clear alcohol....so if you are thinking more about something with color or darker, try emptying a large mouthwash container that best looks like your "flavor" of choice. And be sure to seal it with press-n-seal (it works best)then put the top back on. (don't use aluminum foil, if they run it through a metal detector it will show up and that will get them to wondering what really is in the bottle) I would sugguest not to use anything breakable, like glass. I had a friend get it on the ship, but the glass broke and all his clothes smelled of alcohol. Good Luck, if you get caught they just keep it until your trip is over. On Carnival, if you tell them it's a special occassion (like 21st B-Day or Anniv.), you can bring aboard a fine wine or champaign for a $10 corkage fee. Other Travel Tips try putting some vodka in a water bottle. I don't know if they check the "water" or not. It's worked for me at different places a while back but shhhhhhhh......i didn't tell you about it!!! well can you? are you asking how to do it? well the water bottle trick sounds good. other than that find out if they check your baggages or simply asks if you're carrying alcohol with you. I went on a RCCL cruise in August and my friend and I were able to smuggle on a 7-Up bottle of vodka and one of white rum with no problems. Find an all inclusive cruise. If you wait and buy it in a port- 1. It is duty free 2. You can take it back to the ship and they wont care The only thing cruises dont like is when you are embarking the ship with it. If you buy it later you can claim your taking it home with you. |
