Travel Info I'm 25 what is the best cruise line for someone my age going to the Caribbean? Travel Tips This kind of depends on what you like. Carnival is the least expensive line. They are known as the fun ships. They are popular for people around your age as well as families and young kids. There is lots of parties, gambling, drinking, smoking, etc. on board, just a good idea to keep that in mind. Royal Caribbean is a great line. It costs a little more than Carnival, but the overall quality of the ship is better. You average age on board though is probably around 40, so it is a slightly older crowd. But the ships are usually cleaner and the food is better and there it is just as much fun as Carnival. You can always spend a little more and go for something like Princess, Cunard, Holland, Seabourn, etc. but I think the age group and entertainment is a little older than what you would be looking for.
