Yes, I was in Freeport last January. It was a typical tourist location with shops and beach type activites. The one thing you will be mobbed to do is have your hair braided; about $2 US per braid. Careful you could wind up with 60 + braids. Nassau was better I thought just because it is bigger. Lots of shopping and eating places, and yes hair braiding. The water is very clear, try a glass bottom boat tour. It's easy to see 50 or more feet down. You can see lots of sea life and of course sharks. Source(s): Personal experience
