My husband and I just booked a Cruise on the Princess Carribean.?

Travel Info
I am concerned about the bill we will be getting at the end of the cruise. Can anyone give me an idea as to what their amount their bill was at the end. I realize ours will be different but I would just like to have a "rough" idea to go on. It is a 7 night cruise.

Travel Tips
Just remember use one credit card or debit card on board with one person or two responsible people that will not over spend. They will use your fun card number and charge you from gratuity, drinks in your room, and Alcoholic beverages, ranging from $6 to $9. I believe they have refill cups at a price, don't " Q" me on this.It depends how much drinking you will be doing. And do not be afraid to ask questions. They will harrass you on a sunny day on deck for drinks, do not let them overpower you...they are very nice, but agressive. They charge gratuity about $10 per day (look at website and go to fun pass on lower left corner complete fun pass and then go to my reservation and see other things to do) and what ever you wish to leave for your matrondee. At dinner you will be charge for a glass of wine if you wish (not inclusive)and any other beverages (if not just drink water), I recommend you buy a bottle that they will keep reserved just for you...a glass a day will suffice your thirst at dinner time. Also make sure you tell your travel agent to schedule your dinner time early so you may able to enjoy the evening shows, nightclub, and casino. The rest is up to you...how much you are willing to spend. For a family of 5 we spent about $800.00. Off board between $100 in one port and $300 at another port. When it come to dinner time do not feel shy to try as many things on the menu....so what people think! YOU PAID A LOT OF $$$$ for the cruise, so why not enjoy the food 5 star hotel likeness. You can always double up on the main dish, those are interesting. I hope these tips are helpful. Try to do a lot of research online while you can regarding places you will be visiting...so you do not waist time on land and you will be able to enjoy your day.

we r going on that cruise
7 nights. we just took a 5 night cruise on Princess and it cost about $2500, all together.
im a 24 y o male, my bill was $317 at the end. just liquor and 2 excursions. which was about 100 bucks so alcohol for me was about $217 for a 7 day cruise
yep
Your bill will depend on the types of activities that you chose to do. Also, it will depend on how many alcoholic drinks that you have. Then they will add in a tip for the people who have taken care of you on your trip (ie, waiters/room stewards, etc). Hope this gives you some idea of what to expect. Sorry I can't remember what our total bill was at the end but those are things that you will be looking at.
Hey there, mine ended up being about $3,500 total. VERY expensive, but worth every penny. Once on the ship you have to pay with your ship card for everything, even your excursions. I went on the Golden Princess to Europe, but that will probably be my one and only cruise, unless I go on one on my honeymoon whenever that may be. Have fun, and don't faint at the bill later...you can always pay in payments. =) (Mine was an 11 day cruise)
