How much does it cost to take a taxi from the port to the town in Freeport and Nassau? |
Travel Info We are thinking about taking a taxi from the cruise ship into the towns. About how far away are they and about how much is taxi fare? Travel Tips You are in Nassau when you get off the ship, but you need to get a taxi to go to Paradise Island it cost $8.00 or $9.00. Plan to take your bathing suit and towels. Paradise Island is beautiful Others As far as Nassau, the port is right in town. You walk into town right out of the port building (just got back from there on a cruise). Everything is easy walking distance as it starts literally across the street from the port. As far as Freeport, not sure, but when on the cruise, ask at the information or pursers desk about the cost and what taxi to look for, they will know. they have buses that are just 1 dollar |
