Travel Info How is bahamas for a christmas vacation destination? Travel Tips Hi, I live in the Bahamas - Nassau. You will love it!! It is different enough to feel as if you are in a different country, but yet still similar in some traditions to what you maybe experienced to. We have a Junkanoo Festival that is very popular and a must see. It is like a Mardi Gras or Carnival - but totally Bahamaian. Where do you plan on staying? This will help out in answering your question better. Others wonderful It will be the best Christmas vacation of your entire life. JS Any spot in the Caribbean is wonderful in Winter, but keep in mind that "everyone," else knows that, too. Crowds are better in the Summer, and you don't miss a chance at a "White Christmas." It's great..Im going there this year to visit family. We have a celebration similar to Carnival called Jukanoo Its a really cool place :) Bahamian. |
