Would it be dangerous to travel to the Bahamas during July? |
Travel Info I'm not sure when hurricane season starts, but would you stay away from traveling around the Carribean in the summer? Thank you. Travel Tips It's not dangerous, it's just nice and HOT and sunny. You run a slightly higher risk of hurricane, but it is much higher in August and September. Even then, they usually re-route you, and you go anyway... Others of course not, July is a great time to travel to the Bahamas, it is nice and sunny,beaches are wonderful Hurricane season begins June 1. The peak month is September. There is a moderate chance of one hitting the Bahamas in July. No, its not a dangerous time,,,as long as you steer clear of the triangle... I travel to the Caribbean almost every summer and have been extremely lucky. I have encountered severe storms in October on my cruise to Canada, however. I think it's the luck of the draw. |
