My son enjoyed a hand-made drum. Well, at least it looked local and authentic...enough so that it acutally would look good in my display cabinet of my travel souvenirs.

It really works as a drum, too.

I'm not sure I understand the question. They would probably enjoy a soccer ball, soccer cleats, a jersey of their favorite team..........if I understood the question correctly.
Young boys in Nassau like anything American... baseballs, footballs, soccer balls... roller skates... but you said souvenirs. How about something you pick up at your airport before departing, such as a post card about your city, or state flag. I know in the Atlanta airport there are hundreds of souvenirs to be bought.
