Bahamas questions. Drinking age, souvenirs and crime rate? |
Travel Info What's the drinking age, how strict are they on bringing souvenirs back, and what's the crime rate?? thanks. Travel Tips Drinking age is 18, they want you to shop while your there, I usually bring back about a suitcase full of stuuf no problem and I'm not sure about the crime rate, but I've only been asked if I wanted to buy weed, said no and the guy left, no other problems. Others The Drinking age is 18 but at the age 16 a girl/guy is of legal age to do everything else. There are a lot of places to pick up gifts and also the crime rate is very low and is mostly just accidents and B&E. I am a Bahamian Crime rate is very high. Use you brain and you should be fine. Stay in well lighted areas. As far as souvenirs... nothing from Cuba and you must be 21 to bring back liquor. |
