Can I travel to the Bahamas by cruise ship if I have a felony on my record?

Travel Info
The felony is from 15 years ago.

Travel Tips
Yes, no problem.

Others
So long as you're not still on parole.

I guess.
The cruise lines do not check criminal history.

However, if you are on parole and still have some conditions, check with your PO before you book the trip.

The new passport laws for land/sea go into effect in 2008. I don't know how a felony conviction will impact your ability to get a passport if your travel plans are in 2008.
The most important question is do you have a passport? If you don't have a passport you can not travel outside of the US no matter what.

If you don't have a passport, depending on the circumstances of your felony conviction, you might want to apply for a pardon with your Governor. That can be a long process. Peace!
