Has anyone stayed at any of the Atlantis, in Bahamas? |
Travel Info What was included in your package? Travel Tips There's only one, Paradise Island. I thought it was overpriced, especially since the Riu is right next to it and literally hundresd of dollars less. Also the beach is public so you can stay at any hotel but still enjoy the beautiful beaches. I last went in 2006. The only benefit to me was the aquarium(non-guest only had to pay seven dollars to see it when I was last there though) and the shows that Atlantis offers which are quite good. The casino is expensive. We actually only had the hotel room, but knew of someone who worked at the hotel so our food was free. The food is excellent!!! For three days at the Atlantis we paid close to a grand. You could get the Riu for a little under $600 and that includes all food and alcoholic beverages. Others I just stayed here and it was wonderful. They have packages I think through American Express right now where you get 3 nights for a discounted rate, but it is not an all inclusive resort. On the property however there are many activities for guests. They have water slides, aquariums, restaurants, a casino, shopping and many many other things including a free movie theater. It is definitely an experience to stay at Atlantis and although a bit on the expensive side, you will probably find it worth the money when you see their property and amenities Atlantis is great! You can get different packages depending on what you'd like to do. Be prepared to spend alot of money there. Expensive but well worth it. |
