Bangalore to hyderabad road trip by car? |
Travel Info Hi All, I am planning to drive from Bangalore to Hyderabad by car. Am looking for a route map which can detail the various stop points. Also please share your experience if you have been on this route. Any travel tip will also be highly appreciated thanks Swami Travel Tips hi. we did this trip in may this year. its a single lane most of the way. national highway 7 right from bangalore to hyderabad. u dont need a road map the milestones and signboards are good enough. the distance is approx 560kms. it took us 9 hrs in a corolla. and i usually drive normal to fast. If you like north indian food, the best place to eat are any of the reliance petrol pump plazas. i was impressed with their service and cleanliness. the route is bangalore>anantpur>kurnool>hyd... check mapsofindia.com for more details although u'll not need any. and all the best for ur trip. oh and a tip> try to get out of bangalore before the office rush starts which is 9-11 am and again 4-9pm Others it is hardly 500km via]karnool. you may get typical south indian food -pl bring some mineral water with you. Be careful at night ! You get a lot of drunk truck drivers at night, just look at the side of the roads to see the proof ! Trucks and vans smashed into trees all over the place. Beware the night drivers, my friend. Hi Swami, I dont have a map of this route. But dont travel in the night on this route I think it would take approximately 7 Hrs to get there. You dont need a map. You can easily navigate using the milestones and boards. Also if you get stuck you can ask any tea stall thats open 24/7. And the road is pretty good. But as always be careful from the truck drivers. All the best and have a safe journey ! Good roads and yes time is about 8 hours if you leave early morning. We usually leave by 5 am - 7am. Later, you will catch the truck traffic and the evening traffic in Hyderabad. that takes up driving time considerably. Nice 'Dhabas' on the way too. |
