Travel Info why do still outsiders prefer to relocate to bangalore? it is the educated people from outside who make bangalore livable. Being naturally lazy, under educated , opportunities are limited to the quota system only for a majority . Travel Tips 1>am surprised at ur question...but let me try to see from ur side.....if u have had a bad experience...that doesnt go to brand all locals in bangalore with any tag. 2>bangalore has been one of the most accomodating places for a newcomer-especially people from north India. Neither do you need to learn the local language, nor ru forced to talk in kannada....and in any case, locals have proved their merit beyond doubt, no wonder which led to others flocking here like bees. 3>might be u have had one bad expereince, why dont u mingle and talk with the remaining million folks out there for a million memorable ones?? Others You have not mentioned which part of India or the world you are from. I am a bit surprised at your question or statement. a) Bangalore has had many industries from the beginning. Have you forgotten that it houses several critical public sectors such as Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd, Bharat Electronics Ltd, ITI, HMT, BEML . It is also home to several other renowned educational institutions like Indian Institute of Science, IIM, Medical colleges and engineering colleges etc. b) Kannadigas are very mild, laid back and accomodating to anyone and everyone. So much so that Bangalore has lost its traditional glamour as the city of beautiful gardens and buildings and given rise to several skyscrapers and congestion and associated evils that come from people coming to bangalore from outside. Hence yr sentence that they are short tempered and quarrelsome is quite out of character when attributed to the peace loving kannadigas. ....Kannadigas are very mild, laid back and accomodating to anyone and everyone. So much so that Bangalore ..... If So.., Then why most of the time public strikes and breaking public stuffs and burning innocent peoples vehicles and so much happening even for some reason...!? which is not happening in any of the south indian cities with more frequent. well,i think i know what u mean.generally the locals of bangalore resent any outsider esp.north indians.their is a strong feeling of unwelcome,insolence and rudeness in their demeaneor.but i advise u not to take any notice of it, because actually they are quite good people and extremely honest.try residing in a more advanced locality where u dont hav to interact with many locals. i had encountered the same problem but eventually i fell in love with bangalore and seriously think it is the best city in india to live in. remember never to show any disrespect towards them or their ways.it could make matters worse. |
