Travel Info
kothakar pani kothai niya gese

This is in bengal. Thanks in advance peeps! =)

Travel Tips
Are you indian?nevertheless,I am a bengali living in Kolkata. The phrase that you mentioned is actually an Idiom.
1)word-to-word meaning:-
kothakar-from where
pani-water
kothai-to where
niya/niye geche-taken to
This type of accent that you have written is actually spoken in Bangladesh. But,in India,we,the bengalis, speak the same language, but with certain words sounding slightly dissimilar(like as you have written, they say "niya gese" but we say "niye geche")with the meanings remaining the same.
2)Actual meaning:-
As I said,it's an idiom. So,it actually means "just see where he has led this incident(any particular) to!" Source(s): it's my mother language!
