Tell me something abt commercial street??

Travel Tips
Cool. You have lot of shopping complexes around with platform shops. You can have a good deal of items around it and Brigade road, M.G. Road and Shivaji nagar are nearer destinations. There are Temples, churches and mosques also found in that area.*

Commercial Street
This is a strictly shopping area. You won鈥檛 find entertainment outlets as you would on Brigade Road. Here, you can buy clothes, dress materials, jewelry, and food.

Woody鈥檚 serves good South Indian food. They also have continental and North Indian items, but I personally suggest you go for the classic masala dosa. Nothing beats it! (Unless, perhaps, you make it everyday at home.) This place is definitely value for money.

Coffee Day is popular with people of all ages. The ambience is excellent鈥攊nformal, discreet and generally appealing. They have different kinds of coffee, and they also have items like sandwiches, pizzas and pies. And of course, you can surf the Internet. A friend of mine once told me that you could do just about anything there as along as you don鈥檛 burn the place down. That鈥檚 a little exaggerated, but the management does allow you a fair amount of freedom. You can ask them to play any cassettes that you may have brought along鈥?br />
Natural鈥檚 is heaven on earth for ice-cream lovers. For Rs.22, you can feast on the most delicious and exotic flavors imaginable. They use real fresh fruit in their ice cream. This is not to be missed.

The Cakeshop of the Taj, with its pastries, cakes and patties, is located right next to Natural鈥檚. Indulge your stomach by eating some of the Taj鈥檚 goodies, and topping it off with dessert at Natural鈥檚!

The side streets are definitely worth exploring. You never know what you might stumble upon. Clothes and jewelry here tend to be inexpensive, especially if they are unbranded. The clothes aren鈥檛 of particularly high quality, but if you鈥檙e not too snobbish about it, you鈥檒l find some really good deals. Most people do not remember the names of the smaller stores, because it really does not matter. Just go ahead and look around!
Commercial Street a legacy of the British is another shopping mecca that sells international brands (similar to Brigade road) along side locally produced items. Commercial Street has more of a bazaar feel than Brigade Road. In addition, it is famous for its tattoo and body piercing centers. The price of goods here is very competitive and it is a great place to pick a bargain..
Commercial Street also called commercial street is basically a place to shop. What gets sold most here I suppose is clothes, then you have accessories, stuff for home & a few eating joints. You will also see a Bank & a few CA's offices somewhere amongst all this. So that way it is a typical road, in terms of its physical outlook it's not very wide, it's lengthy and it's a one way with the main entry from Kamaraj Road.
