How do I visit Bannerghatta Zoo? How much does it cost? |
Travel Info I want to take my kids to Bannerghatta zoo, near Bangalore. 1) How far is it (approx) from Bangalore? 2) Can I drive to the zoo? Is the road good? Is parking adequate? 3) What is the entrance fee into the zoo? 4) How much time should I plan to spend in the zoo? Thank you in advance. Travel Tips 1) 22 kms from bangalore 2) Yes u can. Alternatively there are volvo buses which run till the zoo. Road is good and parking adequate. 3) Enterance fee is Rs .30 per adult (if i remebr correctly) for normal visit to the zoo only. There are two other ticket also one is Lion safari other is royal safari. First one costs around Rs 60 and other one is of 100 Rs. In these safari rides u wud be taken on vehicle something like mini buses which is totally protected. U can see all the wild animals moving freely in the park. Seperate charges are there if u are carrying a camera .....thats is also not much. 4. If u are planning to go for a safari ride alongwith zoo then 5-6 hours are enough. Each safari ride takes one hour. Others 1.) 15 - 20 minutes 2.) Parking is adequate until 12am, then it gets full. Come early 3.) Like 12-20 dollars, less for children 4.) 2 - 3 hours for maximum enjoyment <3 SAME AS ABOVE!!!!!!!! In adding to all this You can see Butterfly Park Charges will be around Rs.20/- for adults and less for children. Around morning 10 am is best time, you can watch movie on butterfly ,some skeleton and charts of Birth cycle also can see two months bacd I have visited Go straight on Bannergatta road, it ends in Bannergatta and from there it is just one kilometre. And, it is not zoo but a sanctuary. (check spelling) It is good place for kids. Distance is somewhat 20 to 25 kilometres from Majestic. You can take your car and road is okay. Your kids will be happy being there. The place is over all okay. |
