Travel Info I come from Belgium and I was surprised when I discover that there were a few questions on this site about my country. Actually I though that almost nobody knew Belgium because thi's such a small country! Except the Belgians themselves of course! So what do you know about it? What are the steretypical of Belgium? Travel Tips You're right! It really is a shame that not so many readers show any interest in our country whatsoever... I'm a Belgian myself, living "in the most beautiful part of it" (sorry to my other fellow-compatriots..) in the german speaking part of the country. Have a look at your Internet maps: it is along the borders of Germany. Holland and Luxemburg. Come over and have a look for yourselves! WELCOME! Others well, yeah, i know about belgium...and i've been there before. i think it's really pretty too (and OH..they have AMAZING FOOD THERE...yum...) beer, mussels, beer, chips with mayonaise, beer, Bruges - the venice of the north, beer, crazy metal sculptures, beer, men with moustaches .... beer. yes and its a wonderful country :) Greetings from Brussels! :-) I'll let the other people answer, as I am Belgian (Flemish)myself.
