Travel Info How do i get from brussels midi train station to the royal palace? Travel Tips If you wanna waste money: take a cab (very expensive and sometimes rough guys). You'd better take the bus: line 27 that goes to Verheylewegen. You couldn't take a wrong direction cause the line starts there. After a bit less than 30 minutes (depends on the traffic density), you'll step out at the "Place Royale" stop (to make sure not to miss it, ask the driver... who probably won't be able to answer in English but, who knows?). Then ask someone. You'll be very close on foot. From there, you'll be able to reach many other places of interest easily. Total price: 1,5 euro (more or less $2). Bus, tramway and subway tickets always cost 1,5 euro and they allow you to travel the whole network for one hour (including all the correspondences). PS: ask a STIB network plan at the information desk of the Midi Station: it's free and very usefull. Source(s): Brussels native... Other Travel Tips train, Europe has the greatest trin network you can imagine You can take a bus or a taxi. There is only 5.5 km that is 3.5 miles.
