Political refugees in Belgium?

Travel Info
Does anyone know how much money political refugees in Belgium receive from the Red Cross or other aid agencies? Also, what other benefits do they receive?

Travel Tips
whatever support they receive of international organizations is only known by them or by the organization. But while their request as a refugee is being processed they receive as much as possible in material gifts. only for urgent matters and a little alliance they get money. all that sums up to be about 700鈧?br /> if they are recognized as political refugees, they can get well fare, or unemployment fee. these go from 700鈧?tot 980鈧?
you might find more on the following site:
http://www.dofi.fgov.be/index_1024.htm... it's the official site of the federal organization that assures all affairs with/about foreigners.

I'm lived in Belgium most of my life and the so called refugees are becoming a finacial burden on the country. This count also for The Netherlands. I can tell you the Belgians themself don't like them , because it brings in more crime, like burglary, rape and who knows what. Thank God of the end off this year it will all change. It will become harder to join the fatpot. I think I can say this , because my whole family lives there and I can speak up for them
They have changed it so that political refugees only receive material aid (no more money) until they are recognised as real political refugees (and not economical refugees)
I wasn't aware that they did, but I think that they receive some help with finding jobs. After 1994, a bunch of Rwandan refugees entered Belgium after the Rwandan Genocide. That's all I know
Indeed they only get material help. If you asked political asylum the administration for foreign affairs (I think) assigns you to a local department of well-fare (so you have to go to that city). They have to help you but in many cases you they just send you to a big city where you get a little room to live in...

"if they are recognized as political refugees, they can get well fare, or unemployment fee. these go from 700鈧?tot 980鈧?"
That depends from the situation, and is not that much for someone alone!
And from then on you have to do it yourself: find a home, work, school,... Is a hard job if you don't speak the language and/or have a different skin-color. That's a fact, if you want it or not...
Refugees only get material help. Before they received some money. The answer of Rik is correct.
To Marilsol: ''bange blanke vrouw''.
