Belgium is a neat little country. It's really 2 countries. In the north the people are Flemish and they speak a version of Dutch that they call Flams or Flemish. In the southern part of Belgium the people are Walloons and they speak French. In Brussels, the capital they speak both languages. After Brussels, try to see Bruges, Ghent, and Antwerp. Bruges is the loveliest town I've ever seen. It is a medieval gem. The whole place is made up of picturesque houses, canals and bridges. Brussels has an incredible main square with wonderful gothic and baroque buildings, When there you must eat mussels in white wine sauce, french fries, beef cooked in beer, chocolates, beer. After Italy, Belgium must have the best food in Europe. But it rains so much there. Source(s): My own travels

in brussels you can take a city wide bus tour for the day and you can take a tour to brugge the nicest town in all of europe,antwerp is a waste of time dont bother
