Travel Info What can a person do in Belgium with $7,000 American dollars? How would $7,000 American dollars change someones life in Belguim? Travel Tips 1 euro is USD 1,3 so yes that would be ~ 5380 USD. I am living in Brussels and sincerely I do not think it is that expensive and it remains one of the cheapest place to live in Europe. We usually pay around USD 500 per month for my renting for a 180 m虏 flat (for a couple) in a nice area of Brussels. Although it is true that food is a slightly more expensive than in the US (but also healthier). Others They take Euros there. Paying rent for someone always helps. First thing you would do is exchange them for Euros. I wouldn't be too optimistic about life change... From what I hear, Belgium is an expensive place to live in. $7,000 is roughly 鈧?,300 and so I would go a litle ways but it is REALLY REALLY expensive in Belgium especially in Brussells! It wouldnt change someones life I am afriad..unless they were homeless!!! Good luck!!! It would give about 6 months to life here(including accommodation) if you don't overspent That's what a single person on welfare gets in Belgium over a 9 month period. 7000$ will not change a life for too long. Although housing is considerabely cheaper than in many other countries of Europe, the general cost of living in Belgium (food, transport..), and all taxes you have to pay for are making life very expensive. That amount would help you about half a year to survive, meanwhile I guess you better find yourself a job in Belgium. It's a nice amount for a Europe travel. |
