What`s the most interesting .."stuff" to visit in brussels?

Travel Info
i would like to know what are the most interesting and famous places to visit in brussels..unfortunately, i`ll spend only few days in there so i won`t have time to see it in all its beauty....

Travel Tips
i am french and i live near brussels for 2 years. For a few days, you could visit the Grand Place and the Mannekepis, and wander in this area, this is really beautiful, with the Galerie du Roi, and Galerie de la Reine. You could have a meal at the Rue des bouchers, this is quite a touristic street, but it is so nice! Also you can visit the Atomium and the theatre Toon. There is the Cathedrale de Koekelberg and the Cathedrale Saint-michel-et-Gudule. And you could do some shopping at the Avenue Louise, there is nice shops, but you could do cheaper ones at the Rue Neuve.
It is also nice to have a beer at the Grand place or in the area of the Bourse, it is younger than at the Grand place.

And there is a lot of other place to see!

Have a nice stay in Brussels, i hope i could have helped you! Source(s): My 2 years in Belgium

Other Travel Tips
Brussels is unfortunately not a big touristy kind of city; there's not a lot to see or do here, but there is GREAT food and drink, so bring your appetite! The things you should see are the Grand Place (beautiful architecture). the Mannekin Pis, the Atomium, and the Royal Palace. If you like comics there is a great comic strip museum here, and the natural history museum is also interesting. If you like antiques, the Sablon has an excellent market every weekend to poke around in. The Basilique is the 3rd largest church in the world, and it's located on the northern edge of Brussels. And if you are desperate for something to do, you can always take a tour of the EU Parliament. :)

Make sure to eat some Moules (Mussels) and Frites (fries), the specialty dish of belgium, with a nice chocolate-covered waffle for dessert. If you are feeling really brave, you can try some escargo (snails) as well. Try as many beers as possible too- there are over 1000 kinds to choose from.

A great place to visit is the city of Brugges, which is only about a 30 minute train ride from Brussels. It is a beautiful, quaint little city that is built for tourism, and is a perfect day trip if the weather is cooperating.

Enjoy your visit!!

P.S. Bring your umbrella!! It rains here constantly.
I live in Brussels :)
Visit the flea market(open air at: Vossen plein).
For the rest good restaurants(Rue du Bouchers).
Beers,chocolates....there's more to see here in Antwerp(more Musea and Churches.).
