Is Menem in Belgium easy to get around with a wheelchair,? |
Travel Info Is it possible to hire a mobility scooter? The coach firm will not allow us to take our own. Travel Tips I think you mean MeneN... It has a lot of cobblestone roads. I don't think it's very easy to get around... But public transport in Belgium is often equipped for people in weelchairs. Especially the trains. He's responsible for the facilities for people with a handicap in Menen. I think he will be able to answer all your questions. Others I don't know of many places in Belgium where u can hire scooters. I guess Menem isn't an exception. No, is not like all over Belgium. The pavements here in Belgium are terrible, full with holes and bumps and to high mostly. I never heared here to hire a mobility scooter(there very expensive to buy). Very bad company if your coach don't take a wheelchair, probably their insurance don't cover if any damage on the vehicle. We are proud of our country , and are roads are much better then they are in the US , I can tell you that , because I live here ( California ) . And to answer your Question ...yes it is possible to hire a mobility scooter , go to City Hall and ask , they will tell you where to go . Sorry , some people make me mad . |
