Travel Tips

Arlon is a border city (almost) at about half an hours drive from Luxembourg City. It is situated in the South East region of Belgium known as Les Ardennes. The landscape is mostly pine trees and lakes. Arlon is known for its military bases: the Infantry School and the Tank School in nearby Frassem.
Both schools realize their very realistic training exercises on the training grounds of Lagland.
In recent years some industries have established plants there.
Connexion with Brussels is by train : about 2 hours or by highway.
I've done boot camp there and perhaps that is the reason why I did'nt like it so much as you. But yes it is a nice quiet Belgian city!
