Does anyone know of any good and cheap campsites in Bruges? |
Travel Info Does anyone know of any good and cheap campsites in Bruges? Travel Tips Not a lot of campsites in Bruges (it's my hometown). This is the ones i found: Camping Memling :http://www.camping-memling.be/ They have a pricelist on their site and lots of pictures. Camping St. Michiels: http://www.campingbrugge.be/ Not a very helpful website. Klein Strand in Jabbeke: http://www.kleinstrand.be/index.asp?taal... And there is a good campsite in bredene, on the coast and about 25 minutes drive away: http://www.camping-astrid.be/nl/... Website has no english on it though. Others Hi, Rather than a campsite, why not stay in the hostel there - it's a good one. Persoanlly, I wouldn't stay in Bruges tho - it's too small, I'd suggest you stay in nearby Ghent, which is a beautiful Flemish university town, and not far by bus or train. hope that helps Philip http://www.famoushostels.com/hostel_bauh... Ghent Hostels: http://www.hostelz.com/hostel/11777-inte... theres a few campsites in blankenberge its a coastal town nice not hectic unless you want it to be.......... its only 10 mins from brugges via car train bus have nice time I agree with Phillip, Ghent is a beautiful town, and it's a "real"town, the feeling I got in Brugge was that nobody actually lived there in the center, it was just a place for turists, with streets full of souvenir shops. Ghent is bigger and has a lot of interesting things to visit. And you can always take the train to Brugge from there, it's takes about 20 minutes. Out of curiosity I put 'camping belgium' into Google, and it came up with plenty of suggestions. For even more put 'camping belgie' |
