Pukkelpop festival tickets? |
Travel Info Has anyone been to this festival before? Where can I buy tickets? What did you think of the festival? Is it worth going? Travel Tips Hi, I used to live at a couple of miles from the festival site, and Pukkelpop has always been my favorite! I go there every year! It never gets boring. Pukkelpop has a lot of different stages (5 to 7, main, marquee, a punk&skate stage, 2 different dance tents, an alternative tent etc...), so there'll be always something exciting to see and to do. It's nice to just hang around, catch up with friends, have a couple of beers... Luckily, the stages are not too far apart. If you speak dutch, make sure to get the Humo's programme booklet, distributed for free on the festival site. It has great info on the bands and a plan of what's going on when. If not, just check the website. There will be plenty of info there too. Check out the arabian village next to the punk stage too. (if it's still there this year) It's very cosy, with lamps and cushions and you can have great mint tea there. Tickets have gotten a bit expensive over the years, but it's still peanuts compared to other big european festivals. Tickets for this year are not yet available, but once they are (probably around april), you will be able to buy them online or on the phone and there will be a link to all that on the pukkelpop website (www.pukkelpop.be). Enjoy!!! Others had a fantastic time well worth going got tickets from local news paper ad (belg paper) het latest niews enjoy and experiance a differant world |
