Travel Info Would anyone have info on a place called butterfly farm near le clytte belgium in 1917? Travel Tips I think it's best to get in contact with the tourist office of Ypres (toerisme@ieper.be). They have quite a lot info concerning the First Worldwar. I did some research, but couldn't find any info about the Butterfly Farm. The only thing I could find was a monument in a region called "Heuvelland" concerning the Butterfly Division. Others I am from Belgium and I never known the name "le clytte" this is a deformed name because it must be from the south part of Belgium and their they speak french (dialect) Butterfly farm in french : La ferme du papillon in dutch : De vlinder Hoeve (Boerderij) " Le clytte" = LE is french = Clytte is deformed so maybe is Klei = Klei = argile (french) so possible : De Klei (gehucht) (lieu dit) = clay |
