Travel Info Wgat ar the must see places in bruges (belgium)? Travel Tips From the Central Square: (can be reached taking tram 2 from Central Station): the Belfort, (Town Hall) the square with the statue of the liberators Jan Breydel and Pieter de Coninck; on to embarcation for canal tour (1 hour) on to Medieval Apothicary Museum; on to Beguinage (begijnhof ) with lace shops and lace schools; on to Minnewater (Love Lake), back to center and on to Holy Blood Chapel (Heilig bloed Kapel). There is much much more to see in Bruges and around (Damme for ex.) but I guess this fills one day. Enjoy your stay. Others Well the town itself is lovely. I liked the town hall (??? I think it was that...there was a place with a dark grey exterior with gold statues over it on a square, which was lovely in itself and this place was next to it..upstairs is a room with lots of deocation). THere is a michelangelo statue in one of the churches there (one of only a few to make it outside Italy), and CHOCOLATE!!! mmmmmm THere is another square in the town which is quite pretty and you can get boat rides along the river/canals to get some lovely views of some buildings there......
