Why everyone in Brussels seems really love to smoke? |
Travel Info Why everywhere we can find people smoking? Young people especially. This is stifling. Because when I have a social life; I have to smoke as well?? While I hate smoking. Do they know the danger of smoking when they get older? Travel Tips Hello, It's not only in Brussels(Belgium) but all over the world. Yes here in Belgium there are "some rules", in cafes(pubs) and restaurants, but many here in Antwerp still smoke in those places and they don't give a thing for the law. When they serve food I find personally that smoking is not allowed. What concerning the health it's all different from person to person, someone can catch lung cancer of not even smoking(passive smoker) and some like my late grandfather smoked everyday a lot of cigars and cigarettes did not die of long cancer (he died when he was 86). LOOK FOR BETTER FRIENDS ' They've started putting some restrictions, like separate non-smoking seating in restaurants and bars, and banning smoking in all enclosed work spaces. They'll catch on. I agree with you that Belgian people smoke much, but who is the critic? Your American and your country is the #1 in pollution in the entire world!!! So I think before to try to change the Belgian people, first do a crusade in your own backyard!!! Do you think they smoke a lot in Brussels ?? Man, you sure didn't travel a lot. But you must be very happy : it's a great contribution to American economy. After all, you learned Europe to smoke. I smoke, am courteous and careful with it, but sometimes I think why my health can be damaged by all people driving cars, or my future jeopardized by Americans living on an average ecological footprint which is double the one of the average European (which in itself is already triple the one considered just or healthy). But agreed : you must show the way now in Europe NOT to smoke. welll i agree.. i used to smoke and gave up since 6 months or more.. i hate cigarette smoke and only now i realize wht i risk and still do... Young ppl smoke bcz they wanna be interesting..want to show they are cool,, but they are not at all CANCER is NOT COOL!!!!!!! |
