Travel Tips Depends, if you plan on sticking around base, probably boring, and repetitive, but if I were you, I would get around, and actgually see Germany and experience life there. As an army wife in Germany, you are likel yto experience the time of your life. Germany has so much to offer, great shopping, beautiful scenery, great culture, an awesome nightlife, etc. No matter where you are, there is a conveniant way to get where you want to be. Germany is extremely clean and evnironmentally friendly. The pepole are extremely willing to help you in any way you may need it. If you have chidren, they should easily make friends off base, because most Germans speak English. It will be almost like moving to another America. She was there for 3 years, and wishes she could go back. Her kids loved it too. She says that most everyone wants to stay there instead of returning to the states.
