Travel Info Have you ever been to Berlin? is it any good, because i was thinking of taking my boyfriend there for a weeken Travel Tips Berlin caters for all tastes. If you are into sitting around into the late night drinking coffee, if you want to party all night, if you want see some fabulous art, if you love shopping, if you are into modern history, if you enjoy delicious food and drink, then Berlin has all of this. I strongly recommend purchasing the Rough Guide to Berlin. Others yes, it's tourist-friendly but also nice. i was only there for two days with a group- there are plenty of places to go and such. i'd recommend the checkpoint charlie museum, just because it's something that should be seen...you can see down from the tower (forgot it's name!), which is cool, and there were of plenty of places to eat good food and shop. Both your answers so far are about Berlin, Germany. Is that where you meant? Your question sounds like an American - sorry if I'm wrong - and if you are in the USA you will find the commute VERY expensive. It is a great town but 2 days is nowhere near enough time to see the sights and probably way to long to sit in a cafe and view the tourists. Yes... an exciting place. Spent three and a half years there... just before the wall came down. Would like to go back. Weekend is very short for a Berlin visit - it is a wonderful town and you won't get to see many sights that way (see for example the links; for the second one you have tio switch to English).
