I am now residing in Michigan. What should I tell customs, when I enter Germany what my status will be ? |

If it's less than 3 months, as an American citizen you can be there without a Visa or registering with anyone, so you can just say you're traveling. I don't really recall them asking what I was going to be doing there going through customs in the airport, but it has been 2 years. Have a great time! Others Tell them you're visiting friends and stuff- be honest, and don't look like a terrorist Just tell them "Drogenverhandlung." They probably won't ask. If you have a return plane ticket within 90 days you are fine. By the way, the other answer (in German) is probably the best way to stay for a long time. |
