Bermuda has some of the best beaches anywhere; pink sand beaches that you can find a deserted spot on. We were in Bermuda a couple years ago on cruise and some of the hotels had hurricane damage, but they were being repaired. The best thing about Bermuda is the beaches. There are only a few hotels on the beaches there, but all of the public beaches are great. I suggest a 5,6 or 7 day cruise to Bermuda, it will be less expensive than flying there to stay in a hotel. The island is small (22 miles long) and you can do the tour of it in one day. Then the rest of your time is beach time. They have a great public transportation system, so you can go all over the island with one public transportation ticket (bus and ferry).

i have family in bermuda so i go there all the time. it is a really beautiful place. they are a little more expensive than the US but they dont charge sales tax. if you go during the right time of year you can walk along front street on wednesdays for harbor nights. it is best if you dont go on a cruise because you get to do more of what you want to do. if you rent a moped be careful. road rash is a b***h down their. make sure you visit the SWIZZLe INN. it is a good resteraunt. be sure to go to a lot of beaches as well. have fun
