Whats the best time of year weather wise to visit Bermuda? |
Travel Info Whats the best time of year weather wise to visit Bermuda? Travel Tips A common misconception a lot of people have about Bermuda is that it's a Caribbean island.....it's not. Geographically, it's about the same latitude as North Carolina, so unlike most Caribbean islands, Bermuda has a much wider seasonal variance. In other words, it's a lot cooler in winter than in summer. Anytime of year is still a nice time to go, however. If you want to avoid the late spring-summertime rush, I'd visit sometime between early Feb and late march. Don't worry, the temperature will be fine. Of course, it's always a good idea to bring along a light windbreaker jacket and tie it around your waist or something just in case you start to feel a bit cool, but for the most part, you won't need it. My advice is just to go there, rent a moped, and explore this beautiful piece of planet Earth. And for extra fun, please try and catch a game of Cricket while you're there...you won't be disappointed!! Source(s): Oh, and make sure you have everything you need on Sundays...almost everything is closed that day. Other Travel Tips Are you asking which season is the most rewarding? Avoid the hurricane season. when ever you can afford to go is the best time to go. Christmas. I can tell you that if you decide to go sometime in March the weather is around 68 degrees and the water temp is around 66 degrees but if you decide to go around July then the temp will be about 84degrees and the water will be around 81degrees. Also in March the hotels will be a little cheaper. So with that being said You will like it when ever you go. Take it from someone that is looking to buy a home over there. It depends what kind of vacation you are looking for. If you want to sit on the beach all day I would say June or maybe July. If you want the temperature to be fairly comfortable then April/May would be good. But I'm from Bermuda and live here and I know for sure that August and September are burning hot so it all depends... |
