I am thinking of planning a trip with my boyfriend to Bermuda, have any suggestions? |
Travel Info Any safety things we should know or the best way to travel? We wer ethiking of taking a cruise with Royal Carribbean but we're still doing the research! If you have any idea or input please let me know! thanks! Travel Tips Bermuda is one of the best places you can go. We cruise to Bermuda with Royal Caribbean for 5 nights last year and it is probably the cheapest way to do it. Best month to go is October and November(from NY) This is when the rates are the lowest. Bermuda transportation system is absolutely excellent. You can buy a 1 or 2 day pass which entitles you unlimited trips on all forms of transportation(bus, ferry, etc) Major towns are King's Wharf(west-end of the island where you docked), Hamilton(shopping center, very commercialized), St. George's (East end, the most cultured town on the island... beautiful!) Safety is not an issue during our cruise. Just use common sense as you would other places. Be aware that once you're offshore, you will no longer be in the United States. Save room for Midnight Buffet. Bring Sun block. If they have a seating plan, chose "late seating" for dinner so you won't feel rushed. If the seas look rough, get a "patch" from the infirmary.
