Travel Info Do i need a passport to get in or out of bermuda? at the present time.? Travel Tips No - as of today (12/12/06), if you are a citizen of the USA, you can enter Bermuda with your birth certificate or other accepted proof of citizenship (official with raised seal) and valid photo ID although the passport is the preferred entry document. However, as of January 23, 2007, you willl need a valid passport in order to re-enter the USA. Source(s): http://www.travel.state.gov/travel/cbpmc... Other Travel Tips Probably. The link below lists the regulations. http://www.bermuda.com/travelcenter/... yes Not until next year, then you will need it to go to Canada or Mexico so you may as well get it now as mine took 6 weeks and I'm sure there will be a huge backlog come Jan 1. You can always pay an extra $150 and have it expiated. I like having my passport stamped as it serves a as record of where and when I have visited different places. Also when you go have a photo copy of it in your suitcase in case it gets lost or stolen. Then the people at the embassy will be able to get a replacement faster. Make sure you visit the Swizzile Inn (pub) while in Bermuda and don;'t miss threir traditional Sun morn breakfast. Have fun |
