What is the best place to spend 3 days with kids in Switzerland? |
Travel Info We are visiting in May. Travel Tips wid kids.. 3best places wil be 1.MOUNT TITLIS- they ll love the cable car ride and snow covered mountains 2.JUNGFRAU - the amazing ice palace out there 3.MOUNT PILATUS- the steepest train in the world to reach there Besides.. intersting and beautiful cities for shopping and enjoying the city life are ZURICH and LUCERN Others For Germany side go to Bern. Great city with lots of sightseeing and food. Visit Geneva & Montreux in the French side. Geneva lake is sooo beautiful and great place to have a cafe. Look for Movenpick or Cafe de Paris. Go to Montreux. a quiet town but beautiful in May and take a tram up to Rocher de nay. "je voudrais un cafe si vous plait" - i would like a cafe. "c'est combine?" - how much? "vous pouvez aider moi?" - can u help me? and "Il le ou le Macdonald?" - where is Macdonald? My brain GO TO ZERMATT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rent a house in Wengen or Grindewald...tons of graet, easy hikes around there.. Check out Rick Steve's take on Switzerland at www.ricksteves.com. Many great suggestions there. Depends on what kind of break you're looking for and the age of the kids. Do you want towns to visit, hiking in the beautiful scenery, lakes, staying in a chalet or hotel. Are you by car on do you rely on public transport... I agree with 'baby' if that's what you're looking for. I live in Switzerland |
